Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when you cjheapshot, gouge, or kidney shot a target, and it’s spun around away from your, your backstab will error with the old “you must be behind your target”? I’ve looked for backstab but didn’t see anything and not sure if this is related to mob positioning or something that I’ve long since forgotten about rogue’s.
Use backstab from the flank, it count as from back and that way it doesn’t matter if the stun rotate the mob (that happen sometimes).
90% of the time i stun a target the game automatically spins the mob around putting its back towards me like its assisting me in getting backstabs.
Other times i will be behind and trying to backstab but its never able to register the mob’s back.
I’d rather get an answer as to why my eviscerate misses so much. Sometimes 3-4 times in a row, it’s almost not even worth using the energy on that I should just spam SS instead.

I have noticed this. When this happens I’ll run to the front of the mob and successfully backstab it lol. I’ve also noticed that sap really works half the time. Sometimes it’ll just randomly drop for no reason even if the sapped target took no damage
Not sure, but i think it says “up to” time. I feel like theres differing times. No proof just opinion. I don’t use a lot of addons
I’ve read that a CC’d mob will check to break CC every three seconds and it’s based on your hit rating. So if the mob is your level but you have no talents or gear to improve chance to hit, it could break early. If there mob is higher level than you there’s a greater chance of it breaking early because of the hit gap between levels.
Ive experience the same as well ( My Hello Kitty) so its not just a Rogue issue, might be server lag ( It sounds eerily familiar ) but who knows.
When my pet stuns a mob it turns toward me for the duration and then turns back to my pet
I suppose it could be related to the mob positioning issue that I heard about in beta still being a thing. I’ve also noticed that sap drops randomly on mobs with no damage as well as my evis missing a lot more than I remember from my vanilla days.
