Hows rogue at 120? I might buy a boost tomorrow so I’m trying to figure out how specs are at higher level. Right now I plan on playing assassin, but I like Outlaw as well. I will probably be playing casual with a friend or two, pve, but maybe some pvp as well. May some day get into big stuff like m+ but rn doesnt look like it. I made an sin rogue today and I got it to lvl 23, and it feels slow. I do good for the first few seconds, then its 90% auto attack for the rest of the fight, and no dps. Is it like this the entire time or is it just a low level thing?
For PVP and PVE wise Rogue is currently t1 Class. They are highly sought after class for M+ as well. Sub for M+, Sin for PVP. If you want to spend your Boost on rogue, Rogue is a very good Investment for end game content.
just dont play a sub rogue they are bad
Not sure how it feels slow to you, but i very much enjoy my rogue. After years of maining a DK i made the switch to this and havent thought about going back.
I haven’t gotten into higher M+ yet, but is sub actually sought after? When I’m playing it these days it feels like I’m just slapping mobs with wet spaghetti noodles. Sin seems better all-around at the moment.
I’ve never “literally” ROFLd in my entire life, but I just did. Thanks.
To the OP. Rogues are good. Sub is bad. Don’t play Sub. Early levels are unkind to Rogues. Combat is better until like 40. Sin won’t feel good until you get Vigor at 45.
Sorry My Mistake, It should be Outlaw for M+, Don’t Play Sub. Its Quite Bad as others are saying.
Rogues are one of the most complete classes in the game. You won’t regret rolling one. They are slower than some classes, in that you aren’t just spamming buttons, but they are also more strategic, especially in PvP.
So it actually gets better? Coming from a dk and just facerolling multiple elites at once, I feel so weak. More than one normal mob? Going to finish sub 50% hp if not less.
Sub is a joke and dies so fast with no damage… sine is good in dungeons but just questing has me constantly vanishing to keep from dying. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong, but seems other classes are having a way easier time on the same quests as me.
Rogue is like every other dps, it gets easier with gear. You’re severely undergeared.
Sub is… not in a good place presently.
Assassination is solid for 1-2 target fights.
Outlaw is solid for 3+ target fights.
I main Sub. I know within the first 2 GCDs if I’ve pooched the rotation for an entire boss fight – since it’s all about chaining cooldowns, errors compound.
