Rogue Appreciation

You see so much Negativity on the forums these days so i just thought id make a rogue appreciation thread. I love this class, so many cool little utilities, i know the specs are not perfect and have a few things that could be ironed out but its a fun, cool class ive had my rogue since MC vanilla.

Im loving outlaw and sin atm. How about you ladies and gents?

I made my Rogue for 2 reasons: Pick pocketing and killing Alliance. I’m almost out of pockets to pick…

Rogues are not bad. But sometimes they do bad things.

Surely you must remember all that we’ve lost.

Maybe we have different definition of cool utilities.

I liked making my own poisons. I liked the idea of being ‘prepared for any situation’ - which is how I felt when i was fully stocked on poisons back in vanilla / tbc.

I liked the dungeon delver theme we had going on. Stealth, detect and disarm traps. pickpocketing. Closer to home with a classic D&D rogue I guess.

I miss pickpocketing lockboxes, or world spawn lockboxes. I miss nick nacks like Worn troll dice, or Krol Blade updating every expansion.

I miss class trainers, and having a reason to go back to Darnassus to learn more about the ways of the Rogue from my teacher, or being sent across the world to learn from a specialist.

I miss feeling like my character was growing, and becoming stronger. Not just power scaling through gear.

I miss WoW.

As a casual who has always enjoyed questing and “growing” a character more than anything else in the game, this. All of this.

And, I miss when kick did damage.
