Rogue and Gnomish Death ray

With the batching change on era can a rogue death ray into eviscerate against another rogue without getting blinded?

Also how do you time the eviscerate or kidney after the deathray correctly?

I’m pretty sure you can macro so if you’re casting/channeling you can spam the macro and it won’t interrupt your cast until finished.

Don’t ask me how though.

something blizzard seems to have broken that had worked in 2019 that now no longer works or i have the worst RNG ever being that evasion allows you to dodge blind.

It’s a poison based physical attack. Blind can Miss

yes, but it was something you could counter before with evasion and now that no longer works making Rogue V Rogue very scripted.

Oh, you were saying Blind should be dodgeable but currently isn’t demonstrating that behavior. gotcha. IDK, maybe test it a bit more? The opposing rogues might just be very very lucky in landing the CC through evasion.

Perhaps something has changed, intentionally or otherwise, to where Blind can no longer be doged.

Its acti-blizzard, so low quality is what i expect.

Yeah, no longer able to reliably dodge, and formerly you could if you had evasion+ghostly+base dodge being over 100%.

Something changed.

That might only be on WOLTK/TBC. Being able to dodge blind with evasion. https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=26669/evasion

Worked in Vanilla and also in Classic 2019, im sure I can find proof also from OG vanilla… Ill look.

I can confirm that my rogue has “missed” with Blind in PvE before on Classic Era.

Found proof @ 5:40

hmm. Maybe. or it could be Heightened senses? I know I’ve missed blind due to that before. https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=30895/heightened-senses

It was most certainly considered melee But could be wack and also be classed as a spell because you can use Blind VS BoP… Thing is I was always able to dodge it before using Ghostly + Evasion assuming I had enough base dodge.

Something changed recently to stop the former reliable behavior.

The change is bad because it makes rogue V rogue really predictable… everyone will blind after using Living action or if a stun slips, because they know they can get away with it.

Edit Also: To hit (and not miss) with blind you need base 5% hit no matter what and additional hit if the target has Defense above level 300 (Example tanks)
