It’s a trash mechanic that needs to go away. I’ve crafted the 470 pants 8 times now. Crafted the gloves 6 times
And STILL do not have the ones with the stats I need.
I would happily craft them with double the materials if I could choose the stats.
Also, Expulsom, and materials like it, are trash and needs to go away as well. No one wants an un-farmable, BoP material requirement for crafts. It sucks and serves no purpose except to bottleneck your progress in professions
Just so tired of having a profession and crafting gear that’s immediately scrapped because of this poor excuse of a design. Instead of trying to increase play time with a crap RNG mechanic, why don’t you design a game people want to stick around for?
Are you suggesting that when a hard core player crafts the same pants that the OP has been trying to craft that they automatically get the stats they want?
I will take that as a refusal to defend your statement.
The topic has nothing to do with hard core mythic raiders or some fabricated conspiracy theory that mythic raiders have designed crafted gear as a gate keeper to optimally itemized gear for casuals.
The fact that you’re choosing to villainize them here is misplaced and unfair. In this specific context all players face the same rng.
Yeah current RNG ones which we’ve had since WoD? Are trash.
The amount of times you just get the same worthless combo that isn’t really usable by any spec of that armour type is just…urgh.
At least WoD had the grinding stones to reroll stats, but they never guaranteed that it wouldn’t be a previously rolled stat combo lol.
So you would just be like vers/mastery, vers/mastery, vers/mastery, mastery/vers, vers/mastery lol.
Hopefully the new conception should be a lot more deterministic and better in general.
