I quit wow because blizzard decided to punish me, a TOS abiding player, instead of punishing bots and gold buyers.
Since quitting, I have had 3 people I know ask if I could buy them gold on my account since I’m not playing.
You think banning GDKP solved the problem?? Think again. Have fun in the continued RMT hellscape run by a company that couldn’t care less about its own player base.
Bots that have been around for months are still in game, even after their so called new bot detecting technology was supposed to roll out with this shamble of a phase.
Do with that as you will
So you quit because GDKPs were banned. Still subbed to complain on forums though?
I mean, it sure helped if your only purpose ingame was to gdkp/rmt and your ‘friends’ are all asking you to rmt for them, because they’re so afraid of being banned. Sounds like it’s working incredibly well based on this post.
A act which has been against their Terms of Service literally since day 1 yet they refuse to enforce it.
At the end of phase 1 my guild wanted a 2 week break from raiding so I decided to engage in 2 GDKP runs… prior to season 2 I got an email warning that Blizzard detected that I partook in a Gdkp run and it will be a bannable offense in phase 2.
The GDKP organizer who I’m now friends with has his account muted and his appeal denied despite the fact that at the time he ran them they weren’t considered to be against ToS. He wasn’t able to communicate or group up with anyone for the first 4 days of phase 2 which essentially crippled his experienced.
So they have the tools to detect the only 2 GDKP runs I’ve ever ran but they can’t detect and punish RMT/gold buying?
But there’s also a new a phase that a lot people got a head start on… meaning some people have access to items you wouldn’t otherwise get being not level 40
Thus raising the price of items or materials cuz nobody else has them yet…
Give a couple weeks and you realize all those people in SM are now in your farming spots selling your farm on the AH
