RMT / pay to win has completely ruined the game

Across every aspect of rated PvP this season, it has become clear that RMT / pay to win has completely ruined the game.

  1. People throwing games to lower their MMR.
  2. Multi hero / glad teams carrying some AFK dude who’s 400CR.
  3. People linking glad achievements to get into groups, only to backpedal with their S key and do 5 million damage over the course of an entire RBG.

The list goes on. Blizzard has turned WoW PvP into a joke with all the RMT / carry groups.

Rest in peace.

Smells like an upset RBG player who can’t push past 800 in arena. Very unfortunate.

Gear equalized and solo queue added but still we find a way to blame the booster boogieman. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Make an informative post and I’ll give you an informative response.

Solo shuffle has a lot of issues, but I don’t think boosters are one of them. The other brackets could use some ban hammers for the bots.

I’m at 1950 in RBGs and I regularly see people join groups, accept the role check, then not join the game once the queue pops. Entire teams throwing games isn’t uncommon either but that’s just free points for me.

Regardless, I think the game could use a lot less of these boosters. People selling M+ and raid achievements, PvP rating etc…the game would be better without them IMO.

neither of those are even close to the same as buying rating

don’t get me wrong, i don’t fault anyone in SL who bought 1600 with gold in 2s because they wanted a gear set that was useable given how upgrades work. hell, anyone buying 1800 for the elite set with gold- i wouldn’t do it but it is what it is. the most efficient way to make gold as a decently successful guild or friend group, however, is to sell keys/raid spots

RMT is a different argument entirely, but i don’t think i could ever get on board with banning gold sales of anything especially PvE stuff. it just doesn’t matter and hurts no one imo

Who cares about this

When my pve guild does their rbg night it gets to a point where the mmr is way too juiced for their skill level on whatever toons they’re playing, it’s just a go next angle

I think if you sell the highest number of WoW tokens you get an AWC spot. I mean look at Zeepeye and Snutz.

Their own ban detection found Cdru, Dillypoo, Goreckii, Trillebartom, Minpojke, Samiyam, Smexxin, Versacex, Kubzy, Jellybeans, Maldiva, Snutz, Trilltko, Amne, Revo, Ssds, Avengelyne, Dannycarry, Tonyferal, and others associated with RMT and they’re all back “competing”.

That’s why I said rest in peace. Dead. Not much they can do now. They probably make more money on WoW tokens than subs these days.

Its Rampant, in the open and Blizz is ignoring it.
