RMT and GDKPS are not mutually exclusive infact gdkp’s can run without any rmt whatsoever it would just mean the pots are more reasonable and item prices as well.

I agree with that, but like most things in life we don’t exist in the theoretical, we live in reality where they are abundant and GDKPs feed RMT.

You don’t live life in a vacuum, so some variables have greater effect than others. GDKPs increase RMT by a margin notable enough to show the game is considerably better without them.

With your reasoning, you can claim or justify anything in your actual life as enabling some horrible crimes across the globe. You’re not complicit in the actions of FritoLay just because you bought a bag of chips, and it follows that you always wouldn’t be complicit in RMT by abiding by WoW’s TOS to the best of your ability.

One of the ways they’re working on that is banning one of the reasons to purchase gold. (Arguably the biggest continuous reason to purchase gold in SoD/Vanilla)

Easy fix, allow gdkps but perma ban everyone if rmt gold is used. Should see these threads dissapear pretty quick
