Rising Mists necessary for DF M+?

So hear me out but when I look at the tree I feel like we have to give up too much potential offense to get rising Mists. Awaked Faeline looks to be a bit too strong since you’re spinning crane kicks Will now heal and it’ll proc twice as much and making your tiger palm back twice as fast. Evokers delight up every minute also feels like it’s too much to give up.

The other part is with rapid diffusion and dancing mist you’re going to be popping up a ton of RM. The question is I do have a free point that I need to spend before I drop down to the last tier, and I can place it in Zen reverberation, mist wrap, or font of life. I would say mistrap if I decide to put one point in the misty peaks otherwise I could do a full damage playing goes then reverberation with bone dust Brew. The thing is I know how people feel about bone dust through but I’m very curious since that feline stomp and Gigi should sync up every minute give or take it would be a pretty powerful burst of damage.

For rating I can see backing up the tree and only crowding feline stomp and maxing out Misty peaks with rising mist but that still leaves me with one point at the bottom. I definitely feel missed around is the play because it makes Misty peaks that much more powerful the question is do we spend it on the bottom of the tree or do we place it somewhere up top? I’m thinking we could grab Mana tea just for mana of conservation but the build looks pretty mana efficient. We could grab uplift spirits or Mists of life as well. I still feel like in a raid scenario bone dust Brew is not an awful pic because again it will line up with your 1 minute burst damage and healing combo.

What say you all?

That you wait to see how abilities are tuned to see if fistweaving will even do a fraction of hard casted healing

Waiting is boring, speculating is more fun!

If the extra Tiger Palms and Black Out Kicks also proc ATotM then that would definitely make it attractive.

Also, if the extra Black Out Kicks benefit from TotM that would be even better.

But, if it’s just extra damage then probably not because even though Fistweaving is a damage based healer the damage is quite low.

Based off of another thread, they appear to.

And based on how interactions currently work within Torghast:

  • Additional targets being hit by Blackout Kick also benefit from Teachings of the Monastery.
  • Any hits (on any number of targets) for Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick, or Rising Sun Kick all trigger their own individual heal.
    • This also means that a fully loaded Blackout Kick will trigger 4 hits for 4 individual heals on a single target.
    • Ancient Concordance while standing on a Faeline will allow you to hit up to 7 targets with a single Blackout Kick, meaning up to 28 individual hits triggering 28 individual heals off of a single global cooldown. If Spirit of the Crane is also selected, 21 of those kicks will also generate a total of 13.65% of your maximum mana (0.65% per extra kick) as part of that same global cooldown.
      • This setup can be repeated roughly every 4th global cooldown at will, since Faeline Stomp lasts 30 seconds on a 30 second cooldown and getting max stacks on Teachings of the Monastery only takes 3 Tiger Palms to set up.

Per a blue post in the Alpha Monk Feedback thread:

Known Issue: Ancient Concordance’s tooltip displays the incorrect target count for Blackout Kick’s cleave. The intended functionality of this is to hit 2 targets with 1 point and 3 targets with 2 points.
