Barely any but did you know WoW wasn’t always seasonal? Amazingly, back in the day, you had to actually gear up all the way through older content, it wasn’t just handed to you with a new patch.
Also, that has nothing to do with meta gaming lol.

I remember getting attuned to MC and getting into a raid literally anytime I wanted.
I was in blues/greens and nobody even cared. All they wanted was literally warm bodies to fill the raid 
Even in wrath, I could get an invite to a 25 man icc with bad gear just to fill the 25th slot. Things have changed so much and not all of it was for the better.

i mean im sure you can find examples, i think the recent trend of “engagement” has driven a cloud of negativity in content creators and streamers. if you ask what someone says about SL and they say its fine, thats not very engaging, it doesn’t drive viewer count.
so if you wanted to blame anything that has a negative effect on gaming, i would say its the metrics that streamers need to meet to get paid. but thats true of any corporate job, KPI is all that matters.
IMO exploitative game design for profit has done far more harm to gaming than streamers.

you exxagerate to much most gamers pay no attention to streamers or else viewership would be way up there yet when you see most of them low views there’s only a few that even have a real viewership in all games. i use wowhead for wow needs do i watch streams sure on and off for entertainment only do i listen to what they think will make the game great again hell no just like i don’t here. the only guy i can even find i can tolerate thru a whole stream is maximum from liquid.
I feel like the people that claim to not like streamers pay more attention to streamers than people that legitimately watch the streams.
I don’t subscribe to any streams, don’t care about an opinion formed with a click bait title. In all my years the internet it has yet to ‘teach’ me anything beyond the fact that ‘Birds aren’t real’.

The largest WoW streamer by a MASSIVE amount is Asmongold and most of his content involves farming for mounts and transmog lol.
Who exactly are these streamers that are pushing this super duper WoW character meta onto the players?
I feel like people that make claims about people who don’t like streamers to be failed streamers with horrible personal relationships and will be lonely for their whole life.
