As for the patch, Il say what I said in the other thread, I hope the Azerite reworks is good, if it bombs this expansion is toast.

Probably going to release it right at the end of the stream. They did that with the one PTR I just can’t remember which

To each their own.
They’ve already said they won’t fix class gameplay this expansion. That is the entire foundation of the game. Without fixes to class rotations and progression, there isn’t much to be excited about.

Meh, I play a fury warrior, so it doesn’t effect me too much.
Either way, they did say new abilities and class progression ARE coming with the Azerite update in 8.2. Holding some hope out there.
It may be a huge part of the game (a majority), but there’s other major factors such as outdoor content, the actual Azerite system, raiding etc. which are seeing some great changes.
I complained a lot about BfA in the beginning, but I got tired of doting on the game so much, so I’ve decided that I’ll just see how things go before I go all Debbie Downer on it again.
8.2 will have flight. That is a positive and something to look forward to.

I’m not excited. I worry they’re going to do what they’ve done all expansion which is make excuses or not even consider things from a player/gameplay perspective. I’m actually pretty disappointed in how blizzard has handled BFA.
I played from vanilla (very casually at my friends house with a character I made on his account) then got my first account after his brother showing me how fun it was to level together, to TBC started raiding on my first paladin, and hardcore raiding in wrath and cataclysm. I took a break in cataclysm and returned during legion and was pleasantly surprised. The game felt fun, and community engagement in game was mostly great. There were some negative experiences such as not getting BIS legendaries or having a way to target them which made the whole system feel bad if you were unlucky but as a whole the game was fun to play.
I helped a friend though mythic antorus for transmog stuff yesterday and zerged all the bosses and I thought to myself this is even better than how I feel about BFA as a whole.
I hope developers stop focusing on the /played and how often an account logs in metric to make the game better, but as of now BFA (besides raiding as a whole) is mostly a huge time sink for little to no enjoyment.
