I have a question that hopefully someone more knowledgeable can answer: does Riposte use the same attack table as other instant attack Rogue abilities like Sinister strike?
I’m asking because as a Rogue tank, I’m using Riposte a good amount, and it seems to miss a noticeable amount more than Saber slash or Sinister strike. It’s almost like the ability is using the dual wield attack table instead of the ability table.
Do you have any logs to see your miss % in X amount of casts of riposte?
I don’t, thank for following up. I just checked in the rogue discord, and according to a more knowledgeable fellow there who checked a few different logs, he saw dodges/parries, but no misses. So that pretty much puts my suspicion to rest.
You remember the misses with Riposte more because it goes on cooldown while with SS you just try again.
Class discord is always a nice tool to use, so much theorycrafting and testing!
