Ripcord pulled but its not enough

It kind of depends. If you’re Arms, Mage, Druid, or Assa/Sub rogue, you have loads of fun tools to play with and plenty of choice between throughput or burst damage. Most of the rest of the cast relies on piddly sustain damage with massive burst windows. Monk, MM, and Enh are especially bad offenders. Not only does it feel bad to play against, it’s also a drag to play as.

You could also be DH where you have both nice sustain and a burst window, but still have linear gameplay with few true defensives. Or you could be BM where you have obnoxious sustain + burst damage, three solid escapes, and a short cd self-cleanse + shield that invalidates any class which relies on debuffs to function.

I think if the dev team shifted some power away from those gigantic burst windows and more toward poke damage, 1v1 interactions would become at least a little more interesting.
