Looks like you’ll have to level them up to 10 to post. I personally don’t agree with the posting restriction no matter how much I disagree with people. Its a silly change.
I am pretty eager to see willy’s actual toons though
As if he’ll post on a toon he actually uses. It will be a bank mule, abandoned alt, or he’ll just level to 10.
Once the character is level 10 it can be searched on the armory and subsequently mains & alts will be searchable.
I’m sure people will find a way around it eventually.
Good ,I think this is a great change .I agree with the change blizz made ,im with them on this one .
Hahahaha, this is the best change ever!
Out of all the weird changes to this forum, this will be the most interesting.
What about Forums? Will he level? Will he come out of the shadows?
What is the posting restriction?
Why are people concerned about shadow alts?
What is wrong with a level 10 or 99 or [fill in the blank] posting?
Why the apparent glee and excitement?
Please 'splain to someone who doesn’t care what avatar anyone posts on.
well i mean some of us already know his rogue
He should just dust off Shieldsup. Last thing we need is more panda toons showing up around here.
I never understood the reasoning behind shadow posts in the first place so hopefully the ones who everyone already knows will just level up their shadow so they keep a name that is familiar. Gunna throw me off having to re remember names.
What reasoning does there need to be beyond “I like posting on my ___ level toon”?
Some did it to hide who they are and the whole
Is just a very strange concept to me I guess.
Blizzard set the rules so I’m guessing they must be disruptive enough to warrant this change. Why not just post on a character they actually play? Never understood the big secret.
With the post counts resetting (weirdly) we may never know who those shadows were if they don’t acknowledge the accounts.
I wonder if that alt detecting addon for FF will work again.
Easy solution now would be rolling a allied race since they start off at 20
Is post count per character or account wide? Some of the shadow alts show a post count now.
It was account wide. That’s how we knew Forums was shields for example. If he had used a different account then I don’t think it would have shown. No idea how it will all work now.
