And all streamers are not helping by not addressing the class with so much potential and just talking about same popular class choices as always. So Blizzard never gets a good feedback about our class

you’re high if you think that’s true or you dont play a warlock and have no idea how the class worksl.
I looked at your armory and yup, shows how much experience you have as warlock.

Ok then what is wrong with it?
All the content creators i watch are generally fine with warlock. They need tuned a bit, but in general they are strong. Affliction with DB is too strong and will probably tuned down, destro is looking interesting with either rain of chaos or fire build (made better by conflag lego), and demo looks solid but needs a bit more tweaking.
I am by far more worried about more buttons.

- No kick/interrupt ability on demand as any other dps class.
- Depending on pet, which dies super easy, making more challenging content like Thorgast unplayable as now its 6 second CD to resurrect pet GL with that.
- Melee class buffs in SL will make playing warlock aids in pvp
- Ramp up time, even dots having cast times leading to stop casts to move constantly to dodge mechanics will lead to bad performance in Mythic+ AGAIN and warlock an unwanted class in groups just like now in BFA
- Lack of AoE abilities like Instacast as hunter and mages will lead again to being unwanted for Mythic+ groups also.
- Nobody cares about utility in wow, so adding curses will not make your guildies or pug groups say “OMG we should invite gimp warlock cause they have curses!”
- Dots are easily dispelled
This is just to start i could keep going but just read the posts in forums, i’m not gonna repeat myself.
I think the problem is that you’re looking at one or two statements by streamers from beta saying stuff like above “Affliction with DB is too strong” and yet no other things are addressed as above.
If WoW was a SOLO RPG game i would play a warlock in SL for sure, but being unwanted in Mythic+ / Arena’s and now possibly in raids is real fun.
OH last thing, compare the viability of Warlock vs any melee or ranged dps class and tell me that warlock is has something that makes the class shine.
No burst / no mobility / garbage aoe / low survivability… tell me one thing warlock is better than other dps in game

So should all classes be amorphous blobs that do exactly the same thing? Or maybe just warlock isn’t your thing.
It’s okay that it’s not but warlock is doing fine. There are grievances to be had for sure. But demo is getting an interrupt. Melee will have an aoe cap making casters preferable for aoe. In every group I’m in they are thankful to have cookies and summons. It will be fine. The doom talk is negative crap that comes across as white noise instead of well reasoned criticism.

If you’ve got something to give that’s constructive then maybe people might listen. But all I see is whining from you. Take a deep breath and come back with a well reasoned and thought out suggestion.

Warlock is actually looking good in my opinion
Affliction got some much needed attention and it might even be good in mythics again (God I hope so)
At least we’re not in the sinking boat with Shadow priests

Yeah, no, thats not how any of this works im afraid. The class looks perfectly fine to handle content as it always has, just because you have a problem with it not fitting your little cookie cutter meta mold doesnt make the class bad. Furthermore the class is already plenty enjoyable in all 3 specs and the shadowlands changes I’ve seen so far mostly feel fine to me as a player. Also who even uses armory to gauge experience in 2020. If your so confidant in this post on your warlock at the very least, not that it really matters in the end.

Yeah, that was the point. Their suggestions for what’s wrong with the warlock class is that they don’t have the same capabilities of other classes in exactly the same form as other classes.

I think the OP is being overly dramatic here. The class won’t just die because they aren’t doing precisely what he wants. Changes come slowly to this class. Blizz has a hard time with locks. I for one will stick around. I’m all about the visuals and class fantasy.
