With his age, saw it coming, talked with my family just recently about him when his birthday was around and news were mentioning him.
At least it was peacefully in his sleep… too much suffering going on this year.

I will never fully understand these threads. People die every day but nobody takes the time out of their day to mention the hundreds if not thousands of people dying that day. But when someone on TV dies the world stops. It makes it seem like people only value human life when it’s someone famous.

Can’t believe I found out about this on the WoW forums. What a bummer though, hell of an actor. But getting to 90 is nothin’ to sneeze at.

He lived to the ripe old age of 90 years old. He had an amazing career and got to live out his final years in the comfort of retirement.
I shouldn’t be sad, darnnit… I shouldn’t… But the tears just won’t listen.

I’ve only ever known him as the old Sean Connery. It was like he disappeared from his younger self and reappeared 20 years older in the late 1980’s.
Well, there’s a reason that happened…
Now, for an ordinary man, this would have been a career-ender. Connery, on the other hand, came back to have an entire second career in salt-and-pepper mode.
Because those people didn’t affect say, my life… or didn’t even get on my radar per se.

While you do have a point, but I actually got to talk to him on several times I use to work in Hollywood as a griper (loved and hated that job) plus he knew my grandmother from Scotland…
That man was incredibly nice and one hell of a hard worker plus I grew up watching him in theaters so

We don’t know what everyone here does throughout their day. Conflating a thread in this forum about someone many have seen and are familiar with doesn’t equate to the world stopping. It is something to talk about and this too shall pass.
Like every other topic here. It’s okay.
