Agreed that is poor practice.
On the other hand…
Were you guys aware that you were NOT fighting Communists?

Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
You are aware since Vietnam the DOD has an arm that communicates regularly with the media and they work together to report what they are allowed to.
You act like there’s something devious going on when there wasn’t.
I again stated, Right leaning and Republican people say that A LOT despite evidence.
Many Liberal/Democratic people don’t like CNN too, that should tell you something. They even reported on Benghazi etc.
You basically said you’re closed minded.
As a lowly, blue collar level worker here in the States, I’ve never forked out more than $30 for a copay for any medical visit and my premiums every month have been around $300 for both myself an my kid. Which I don’t think is entirely unreasonable considering I’ve never been hit with a massive medical bill.
I also don’t stuff my face with donuts every morning or eat garbage food loaded with junk. YMMV
The best way to get information is to read it, not from watching TV. TV is designed largely to entertain.
EDIT: Reading the news is faster, too!
So, you’re saying that detaining children away from their parents for long periods of time - and the supposed forced sterilization - is not that bad because they chose to try and live a better life?
Steven Crowder has an agenda and is not at all representing the Canadian health care system properly. Once again, America has the best health care if you’re wealthy. For the vast majority of Americans, it does nothing but bankrupt them.
If you need attention - even just a few stitches - you’re seen. It’s just not taking priority over a gunshot (as uncommon as those are), or a car crash. The only time it would is if you’re in the US and rich.
Might be state dependent, but healthcare is very affordable for low income people. It’s when you exceed a certain income bracket, where you’re expected to have insurance, that it becomes an issue.
bruh.
Army is full of stupid acronyms.
Here’s another:
“really big boobs should fill both hands”
easy way to remember:
responsiveness, breathing, bleeding, shock, fractures, something, help.
It’s been almost 20 years since I was in the army and I still mostly remember all that from a silly acronym, so it’s stupid but it works
My favorite army term is “nut to butt”. We still use it in raid strategy in-game.
(LOOK, everyone! I tied this thread to WoW.)
But see that is just it. I don’t even agree with your premise. I could say the exact opposite and provide just as many sources as you could and debunk each source as bias just like you could. We end up now competing at the national level for our own views and inevitably we end up forcing the other to abide by the view who gains power. This can be done so much better at the local level where views tend to be more normalized because of the freedom to self organize and come together with like minded people.
$300 a month is a lot. Plus, I wonder if that’s through your employer. What happens if you’re suddenly unable to work? What if you get let go? Do you lose that coverage?
Also, diabetics come in several forms. Gestational diabetes from being pregnant, or having type 1 diabetes. It’s not just the unhealthy people who get it. There are plenty of conditions with costly medication that they need to survive.
Isn’t that true though? Jeff Bezos had an idea to make an online book store. He got a loan of like 10k or something from his grandmother and then made Amazon. He didn’t become rich over night, dude worked in his garrage lol.
I mean not now you can’t since Amazon is king and it’d be hard to break into that sector. But there are other sectors that are unexplored. But in new sectors you can go make a company and become rich.
While I can agree that fox pushes it’s way. I can look over and see how people left leaning try to prop it up as they are fighting for your rights, celebrate that 2 officers got ambushed, and almost died, and absolutely refuse to listen to anyone but twitter and cnn. I have met a few older sensible Democrats? But our generation Is idiotic and drowns them out.
Dude, my husband and I were amazed with how frequent folks read the newspaper in Luxembourg when we lived there for a bit. We’d be riding the bus and even the kids were reading the local paper. It was surreal.
This. News networks exist to make your feel-good neurotransmitters go “beep boop”, so they put a joke or a snide comment in there, which further sways opinions, like calling Joe Biden “Sleepy Joe” or calling Trump a “Fascist in Chief”. News Networks are designed to appeal to your preferences.
that one is either before my time or after my time
It’s fact that Democratic states on average put more than they take, and a number of Republican states do the opposite. Not all obviously - but that is the noticeable trend. New York and California would very likely benefit from being independent economically and by policies. Kentucky would not.
Also, localized views aren’t good for law making when it comes to human rights.
The media is the enemy of the people.
It’s not a right. Someone has to pay those bills even if the patient doesn’t. Nurses and doctors don’t pay their bills with hugs.
