OK but her and the director both are on record in an interview saying she still could be in the 3rd movie. Iâve read it several times. Character dead or not, doesnât mean she couldnât film flashbacks, etc.

What a legacy she left behind. No matter what she was in⌠it was always made better by her participation. A true class act⌠you donât see that much anymore. She will be sorely missed. Have to go watch HP movies now in memorandum.

Yes, the faculty (and the actors who portrayed them) are aging and moving on. Time for Harry and the others to take their proper places on the faculty.

While I did watch and enjoy the Harry Potter stuff with her in itâŚits no match to the character she did in Downton Abbey nowâŚthat was her best work I feelâŚher one liner deliveries had me in stitchesâŚâWhat is a WeekendââŚboom

I havenât seen Downtown Abbey, canât afford to pay for steaming services on a fixed income, but from everything I have read, she was beyond brilliant in that show. Hopefully someday I will get the opportunity to see it.
She was a real classy dame.
