From 200-300 gold per run to barely 70-100 gold, I mean I’m not truly complaining I got like 7 millions gold so, I no longer need to farm gold anymore I was merely doing it to kill time, but still ouch.
I’m glad I decided to not buy the 5 millions gold mount now.

Do Legion dungeons 
Not worth it, they are actually the worst one to do since they drop nearly zero green or grey items and they also got nerf, the best one to farm was TBC or WOD, my guess is the best one to do will be the BFA dungeons once we are level 60.

I seriously though about getting it, I was extremely close to, but when I hear about a possible shadowland gold nerf and when it was confirmed I decided not too since that 5 millions will worth like 10 millions now due to gold being harder to farm and no mount worth 10 millions.
Well that is for now we might get a super easy way to make gold in Shadowland, like those calling and gold world quests but we’ll see.
For now no since it takes too long to farm them compare to older content, but once we are level 60 with decent gear then it will be another story and yeah BFA dungeons might become worth while that is if they didn’t nerf them to the ground for no reasons, I didn’t test them yet.

Didn’t they start nerfing drops in instances, years ago. I used to farm an instance for ebonweave and turned out abysal bags like a factory to sell in the auction hall. One patch they nerfed it and it was no longer profitable. I think it was the Grim Batol?
Raw gold farming was never the main method to make good amounts of gold.
It was pocket change.
