Well, just add this to the growing list for 2022.
When you look into it several people from that show have had less than happy life stories.
I loved watching Power Rangers as a child. My favorite series by far was Zeo; I remember losing my god damn mind when they were showing the teaser for that series at the end credits of the original Power Rangers:
I may be in the minority, but my favorite portrayal of Tommy Oliver was when he was Zeo Ranger 5: Red. He went through many great trials testing his leadership skills, was brainwashed and fought the other Zeo rangers, reunited with his âlostâ brother (who was portrayed by his actual brother who tragically died years later), and had one of the coolest personal Zords ever, the Red Battlezord.
I may also be biased because Zeoâs music slapped hard and they also had the Gold Ranger, but regardless, Tommy was always my favorite.
Thanks for the childhood memories, JDF.
I know the actor who played Billy did not have it easy behind the scenes of the show. Since he was gay.
The other actors werenât the problem. They were cool with it. Other folks working on the show? Not so much
If I recall correctly, he bullied the actor that played Billy on set with homophobic remarks, which is why that particular actor left the franchise.
Iâm gay and the 90s were a rough time for us. It was âacceptedâ to be the butt of everyoneâs jokes back then. Not excusing it. And not berating the actor for doing it, either. Mistakes were made and lessons were hopefully learned.
I mourn his passing, though. He was a super fan of all his fans, and thatâs awesome in my book. RIP, White Tiger.
Odd Iâve heard the actors were okay with it. Back when I watched Linkaraâs power ranger history vids
This hits me right in my youthđ˘. Still have some old video tapes somewhere.
Let me see if I can dig up where I read it.
Not even confirmed yet.
Nothing in that article confirms it.
The headline confirms it.
Says his rep confirmed it
Mental health is a serious problem and impacts many, many people.
I wouldnât trust TMZ to tell me the sun was shining if it was noon.
I trust TMZ more than I trust the government.
Headlines arenât quotes of confirmation.
Didnât see that in there. Sorry.
