RIP Eddie Van Halen

There are lots of amazing artists out there. Guitarists especially.

Dang, I saw Van Halen with Roth back in the 80s and in the 2000s with Hagar. Gonna miss him.

After hearing Eruption for the first time, I so wanted to learn the technique. I can do it now, but on a Bass.

Rest In Power :metal:

Probably not the only person that hasn’t.

Van Halen has been around a long time and sold something like over 60 million albums. Most people that listen to them are older.

we will never see something like this again. every guitar player when i was growing up wanted to be him. he changed guitar forever.

sound quality sort of sucks but its way cool to see them perform this together.

I linked Humans Being up top, but here’s another great one from one of their best albums

I should smack your face right off your head for even putting this out into the Universe dude! No, just heck fracking No!

Eddie was a true legend, he left his mark on music and will be missed.

If there is an afterlife, and I don’t believe there is, it is a wonderful thought to imagine Eddie and Jimi just destroying the place.

Holy crap I cant believe it. Van Halen was a huge part of my childhood and growing up. So many memories of growing up in the 80s and Van Halen was right there along with all the memories.

I’m stunned.

RIP Eddie.

I would rant on how wrong hagar was bad for van halen.

But I will admit in thise years Eddie had a cleaner technique and sound that was also good. So…you have to take the good with the bad I guess.

First time my jaw ever dropped open in absolute stunned amazement was when i heard eruption solo.

Got the news about 4 hours ago, and still saddened by it.

Legend for sure and may we continue to rock out to the sounds he produced.

Right Now, we should be celebrating his life with more of Van Halen’s music. My first introduction to this band was…

RIP Eddie Van Halen, may your riffs rock the heavens for all eternity.
