Today Eddie Van Halen passed away at at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, with his wife Janie next to him.
Heaven must be having one hell of a rock show.

He is outlived by David Lee Roth, his one time frontman, who was also rumored to have moved the GDP of a small south american country up his nose in their prime in the 80’s, go figure.
Seriously though Van Halen is one of those bands I feel like I’ve known about since I was old enough to know what a band was.
