Are you playing the same game as the rest of us, where disc priests were the elite, favored healers for 2 expansions now?
If they’re stumbling a bit out the gate in Shadowlands it’d be a first since the Legion redesign.
He’s killed 5 normal bosses and done 0 Mythic Pluses…

I’d like to know why when people give feedback, you attack the person giving feedback?
Because what youre doing isnt asking for feed back its tired and rehashed saying disc is dead or bad there’s like 4 of these threads in the top 10 of priest forums.
Because bro its the same thread as others. Its getting monotonous. disc is fine.
bro you have more ilvl then me and in raids im doing fine in keys pvp and raiding.

Your thread is titled “RIP Disc Priest 2004-2020” when in fact, it’s used a lot in a lot of content and excels in some of that content.
Might have something to do with it.

In the mythic logs that are turning up, interestingly, disc priest has narrowed the median gap to almost nothing, and has more upside potential (a wider band of higher performers, along with lower performers) than either holy priest or Paladin.
Either these players are doing something different or the spec is scaling well or works better in the mythic environment. So… not at all dead.

People know when mechanics are now, so they’re better able to prepare for them, and people have dedicated healing cd rotations so nobody is stepping on anyone’s toes.
The disc is free to set up huge spirit shells going into dangerous mechanics, and nobody is sniping or overlapping healing CDs where they aren’t needed. There’s also just more damage, which means more potential healing to be done.
This has happened weeks 1->2 with disc every tier of the past two expansions.
