Your allowed to have an opinion but your not free from consequences. Also you wouldnt be harassed if you actually listened to the other person instead of taking critique as a personal attack.
My personal favorite, is when the deranged mobs harass people just trying to eat, and try and force them to show support for their political movement. Little do they know, by doing that, theyâve created more hatred toward them, and every cause they represent, than the most vile demagogue could have ever hoped to. The left is itâs own worse enemy.

Leftists? Disney? None of this is due to lefty politics. Itâs capitalism through and through. She is a bad look for their brand to be associated with. It is in the interest of profits that they disassociate with her. Disney is a pretty big company. They donât have to do anything they donât want to.

This is normally the part where Iâd point out that I have transgender friends, but Iâm pretty up to date with the cultural norms, and pointing out that you have gay friends and whatnot is no longer considered a valid social defense in the Kangaroo Court of social media, so I am just going to quietly stand in the cornerâŚand keep my mouth shut for the rest of this thread.

Iâd much rather live in a society that enshrines freedom of speech as the virtue that it is. There is nothing quite as vile, as attempting to silence people you donât agree with, it leads to a stagnant society where ideas and philosophies are not shared.
Whatâs even more shocking, is that people who actually subscribe to the idea that itâs totally okay to silence speech that you donât like, seem incapable of recognizing that eventually it will be they who is silenced. Almost all of them operate under this delusion that their own particular political outlook will be in vogue, that by simply brow beating people, theyâll make everyone think the way they do. When all youâre really accomplishing, is to make them hate you, and silently wait for their own turn at the cancel hammer.

The fact that you need to point out having âtransgender friendsâ is the thing that sociopaths do to somehow (?) justify their incredibly uneducated world view. You have some very deep seated issues, and I wish you the best of luck in dealing with them.

People and organizations have been trying to silence, cancel, and punish others in pursuit of ideology and profit for centuries.
Exactly, like, folks seriously think this is a new thing? Back in the middle ages, if you spoke out against the church you were âcancelledâ and back then, cancelling didnât just mean people didnât like you, it often meant you were tried and executed for heresy.
Hell, when Galileo started talking about how the earth moved around the sun (rather than the Churchâs belief that the earth was the center of the solar system and all other planetary bodies rotated around it) his theories were declared heretical and the church ordered him to abandon them.
