RIP "Breaking the cycle", absolutely nothing is changing with factions

This is the way is has always been. This is the way it will always be. They never once hinted that it would ever change.

But people like to get their feelings hurt when their own little pet theories don’t turn into reality even though they are based on nothing but wild speculation and internet bs.

Very true I should have said some. Having the option to do so wouldn’t hurt those that don’t though if they did it correctly.

I mean i understand having 2 factions and the faction war. Its a huge part of the game.

Just stop having peace. They keep doing this lame thing where the factions unite and be peaceful together but it means nothing and feels awkward and forced.

Just stop doing that. I get that factions and pvp are a thing. We need that for plenty of various gameplay things. Just stop having them go to peace with each other but not really.

At least let us grind faction rep for the ability to play. It’s just naked racism otherwise. Even the Germans and the English played soccer on Christmas during WW1.

Actually, what they ought to do is turn the bastions into the new factions.

The factions should exist but they should be a choice that you have to earn like Skryer or Aldor in BC. What ever one you choose to go behind is up to you.

The Players should be able to play with each other reguardless of their faction choice. That just makes grouping faster and guild’s stronger. In general the game and the servers will become stronger.

But you can still keep the faction war and the concepts behind it strong.

Same garbage with my Horde alts. I keep getting pretty terrible experiences with Horde players. It was pretty shocking coming from warmode where Alliance call out bounties and group up alot when they need to.

Horde literally just straight up run away and don’t even bother helping me when I’m getting merc’d in warmode. And the toxicity is really bad on the Horde side in my experience.

WHAT?!?

I’m fairly certain you’ve just proved you don’t know the meaning of the word.

I think he is just pointing out the fact that factions are divided by race rather then a persons values. He went a bit strong with the phrasing but he has a point.

I would rather the factions be chosen by value system rather then by race.

That might be cool in another game (and was, when I played SWG) but that’s not this game, or its foundational IP.

Not sure how it was strong, but yes. If you’re a troll, you can’t play with the alliance. If you’re a Human, you can’t play with the Horde. It’s race-based.

BINGO! (10)

Hmm no the races are WAY too hard-set into the lore & story in terms of faction. There are just some fundamental differences between their cultures that would never work.

But player should still have the option to play cross-faction, that’s all I’d say is needed

It was the same nonsense in Legion with Order Halls. Why were we not able to speak to each other in our Order Halls? Standing around with members of the opposite faction but unable to interact with them in any meaningful way? It was one of the most ridiculous game experiences I have experienced and it didn’t enhance that expansion for me in the slightest. I was more often annoyed than anything else.

You mean in a good way right? Order halls were a huge step in the right direction and one of my favorite aspects of Legion :stuck_out_tongue:

Unrelated, but I like your mog

Can’t wait for the expac following Shadowlands, which will have a pre-patch event where the Horde seizes control of the Vindicaar using a goblin shot out of a catapult which can somehow reach into space, then uses it to destroy all of Ironforge/Dun Morogh, Stormwind/Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Loch Modan, Redridge Mountains, Duskwood, Wetlands, and any other Alliance zone on Eastern Kingdoms, and then have five books about how dramatic terrible the event was and how many Dwarves and Humans died and they going extinct now, 20 CGI cinematics showing Baine having a pity-party crying himself to sleep over the ‘terrible thing that happened’.

Boo-hoo-hoo the poor Horde’s image is ‘ruined’ now. We need to find ourselves again! Some rando Horde character becomes the new Garrosh/Slyvanas IDK that ZappyBoi guy he’s Warchief for some reason. Then the months of twitter posts and jokes about the ‘fireworks’ and how hIlArIoUs and mOrAlLy GrAy it was. Oh and the terrible event leads into the next expansion after where we have to follow ZappyBoi to an alternate Azeroth, making it a reboot of Cataclysm content.

And the expansion after that expansion, they’ll delete the Alliance from the game with the pre-patch event. Because the current writers are lazy hacks who can only rehash the same Garrosh/Theramore story over and over, multiplied exponentially with each re-telling. (The game dies at this point now they have to reboot Pandaria, which started the trend. Multiply by zero. End of WoW)

Thanks.

I try to color coordinate…sometimes haha. :+1:
