I am attempting to use the Darkmoon Faire profession quests for my character, but I am not able to get the Mining Quest from Rinling for some reason…
He does not offer the Rearm, Reuse, Recycle quest at all, and only has a blue arrow over his head, offering a quest to win a Darkmoon Game Prize??
I have tried /reload, and leaving the Faire then returning, as well as logging out then back in, but he never has the Mining profession quest?? Is this a bug of some sort, or has that quest been removed for some reason??

This might be a silly question and please don’t be offended. Your mining is at least 75 yes?
My Mining is way past 75 normally, but it is only 47 in Draenor Mining right now…
It was far higher back when Mining was a single skill that was not broken into the various expansions, but even without being at 75 in Draenor skill-levels, I have been able to get the profession quests from the Faire in other professions, like for instance my Draenor Fishing is only level 20, but that quests was available, same with Draenor Alchemy, which was level 32, but the Alchemy quest was there!!

If your Darkmoon Faire profession quest is not showing as available, check your profession level for your Original (Vanilla 1-300) tier. If it is not at least 75 points, your profession quest will not show up, no matter how many points you have in other expansion pack tiers of your profession.

I think you are right, because he only has 62/300 for regular Mining…

That was it…
I went to Ashenvale N got my Vanilla Mining up to 75, then back to the Faire, and then the quest was there!!

Yeah, gotta have 75 in a Vanilla profession to be able to do a DM Faire quest. And at first the quest only bumped up the Vanilla prof 5 levels. Blizzard took pity on us and now gives the level-up to whatever expansion profession we’re working on now. Still can’t even get the quest unless you have 75 Vanilla.
