Why is it that I have Ring of Shadowsight equipped yet still can’t see stealthed units right beside me, close enough to hear but still can’t see with this useless af item?

it does a free potion drinking animation when you equip it, so that’s pretty neat

It works… works better when facing the said target than it standing “near” you
Based on the wording it sounds like it gives you 1 level of stealth detection which is not a lot. The only classic that gets realistic use out of that 1 level is probably Rogue finding another Rogue in stealth.
I would keep it on Warlock because felhunter + shades + pot + ring is funny.
They likely tuned it with all the other stealth detection items in mind. If it was as good as perception it would be busted.
As the other player said, if used with all the other items (later phases) it’ll be nice.
Passive always on perception would be insanely busted.
It’s supposed to be a bit of a meme item tbh.

I paid 5g for it in my run. Both rings have worthwhile pvp utility in my opinion, and they may be a pain to get at lvl 40 (although maybe soloable at lvl 50). I think people are sleeping on the rings.
Maybe you’ll enjoy it with hunter pets next phase.
