I know there was an issue not long ago where there was a dead zone on the screen where the mouse was irresponsive. Well I’m starting to see problems with only the right mouse button where it doesn’t click sometimes. I’m wondering if it’s the game or if my mouse is already staring to die. If so that’ll be like the 4th mouse in the last two years I’ve sabotaged. And they’re not cheap ones either.
Is anyone else having issues with the camera rotation, ie right mouse clicks?
Hi Samasha
Are you able to test with another mouse. Even one of your old ones that didn’t have this particular issue.
Windows pushed a recent patch for mouse issues. Check that you have that. Type Update in Windows search box. At the top of results click Check for Updates. That will open the Windows Updates pane. It may say “You’re up to Date”. Disregard that “Untruth” and press the Check for Updates button below.
Be warned that will start the full meal deal windows update download. May take some time depending on how up to date you are.
You were right about the update.
Right now it’s installing a version 1803 update as well as a 1809 feature update.
I haven’t got another gaming mouse around, but next time I’m at the store I’ll buy another in case this one breaks really bad and I can’t wow at all.
I’ll post back with results. The problem started yesterday and it happened only once today where for a minute I could not control the camera very well. So it might take some time.
Those updates are going to take awhile. Glad I warned you. There are other things we can try. Mouse/camera issues are common on the forum here. Let me know.
In the past I seemed to wear out my mice at an alarming rate. I switched to a Razer Mamba Tournament Edition mouse and it has been real solid for a couple years now. I had Razer Death Adders before. They never seemed to last long.
Good to know about the Razer Adder.
I’m not sure which ones I’ve gone through, but two of them were Razer.
The update is already done. Got to love SSD technology.
If the problem persists I’ll post back.
