You really need to re-read it. He pretty much implies itâs people reporting it thatâs the problem.
But he made the changes in an effort to stop the people using it from getting reported.
Doesnât change the fact the people are abusing the RCR feature, and Blizzard are for some reason upholding the squelches of people using addons to help people.
The best part is, even though it ISNâT spamming, spamming is not actually anywhere in the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct for the game. So Blizzard are silencing people for doing something that they were never told to not do.
On top of this, Blizzard has OUTRIGHT TOLD US that the Report For > Spam button is ONLY for Advertising.
We need a method of keeping all the reported players together, that group would be so high-tuned and maximized. Sure theyâre all spergs but spergs doing 1k DPS, Iâm in.
No they havenât, sorry. The Report Spam option is there for reporting all sorts of spam.

But who decided that you broke the rule and applied the punishment, other users or FB employees? That is the issue with the current Blizz implementation. Blizzard enforcing the rules on Blizzard owned servers is 100% okay, allowing user mobs the power to silence other users on a collective whim is troublesome.
