My “push pressure” when I click is quite harder than the average, I’ve deduced, because gaming mice (any mice) last no longer than 4-6 months for me. It’s always the left or right switch, and it’s always either double-clicking when I single-click, or releasing the click before I release the pressure.
Just in Razer’s defense, the three or four I’ve had over the years haven’t performed any better or worse than other mice I’ve owned. Experienced failures with Razer, Microsoft, Logitech, Red Dragon, Amazon Basics, and any other no-name or random Amazon brand I have tried. Six months max. Same exact switch failures.
Protection plans, which I’d normally label as a nonsense investment, prove very useful to me when it comes to mice. I grab a one-year for like six bucks, and constantly just exchange them when they fail around the six-month mark. Haven’t actually paid for a new mouse in a couple of years now.
