I renewed my subscription this past Sunday (10/6) in order to play WoW Classic and every single day since I have been experiencing an absurd number of random DCs. I’ve tried all the basic Blizzard recommended fixes, I’ve even gone to lengths and personal expense to get this PC upgraded to a wired connection and it’s still happening.
This is beyond ridiculous. I have no issues with anything other than trying to play WoW Classic and failing to be able to do so for more than 10 minutes at best before my game locks up and DCs me with a WOW51900319 Error. Please help me understand what the problem is and how it can be fixed ASAP. The fact that I’m now paying for this game again yet am unable to play it is tantamount to robbery.
I was booted yet another two times during this testing window.
Edit: And another two DCs just now merely trying to turn in quests in Ratchet. This is unplayable.
so it is a bit hard to tell what’s happening because your modem/isp is blocking most of the results, but you are losing a lot of packets and having a lot of latency by the time you reach the server. most of the time this is because of a problem with your modem or router, especially if you connected via ethernet to rule out wifi issues. but it could also be an issue somewhere between you and blizzard.
i might try to connect via any other way if it is available, such as via phone tethering or something. that would just help isolate the issue to something with your connection. but otherwise i’d contact your isp and see if they can’t get you fixed up.
ive been having the same issue, tried all problems, worked on it with blizzard, tried every single suggestion to no effect. Bought a new modem, router, tried disabling everything, reinstalling everything, ran the winmtr which was totally fine. This IS NOT ON MY INTERNET. HELP
if you’d like to continue troubleshooting on the forums i’d make a new thread, post what you’ve done so far and a new winmtr. posting in a bunch of threads with me too doesn’t do any good and muddles up someone elses troubleshooting.
ae1-br01-eqch2.as57976 dot net this hop is the issue, its been said a million times all over blizzard forums. I have tried every single suggestion on all forums. Ive disabled addons, updated all drivers, new modem, new router. Uninstalled all apps they suggested. This issue is on their end.
We aren’t aware of any widespread issues causing disconnects on our side, nor are we aware of any regional issues causing these problems. If these steps didn’t help, then please create your own thread with a WinMTR test, name of the ISP and country/state you are playing from. This will help us review each situation individually and provide the best possible information for each player.
Xosder,
Please provide an updated WinMTR. Make sure to run the WinMTR as Admin. It may also be helpful to test WoW while using an alternate network like a mobile hotspot or free VPN to compare the difference.
Same happening here. For the last 3 days, I have been getting disconnected constantly, not only from battle.net, but also my servers.
Don’t even begin to ask me to post WinMTR or tracert. I have already done this, reset my router, rebooted, did a ipconfig /flushdns, checked all drivers, and deleted the cache, WTF, and Interface directories.
The issue – as always with me! – is level3 dot net and at&t on blizzard’s end. Fix this crap! I realize that asking someone to reset a router is like asking them if it is okay to crap on their sofa; nevertheless, this has to be done sometimes. Do it, and quit wasting our time.
I think it’s because people report us. I sent a /rude to, well, a rude person and they said ‘wait right there’ so I thought maybe they had something to say. Nope. After about a minute he waved /bye and I got Disconnected.
