Yeah. I think they took it out in Wrath or maybe Cata. I love my trophy bow

They took it out between Wrath and Catalcysm, right around the pre-expansion event that redid all the zones.

I love that bow. Still use it on my xmog.

its a mark of the old skilled hunters. Lots of people claim they “had” it but cannot link the feat of strength that proves it.

Feel bad for anyone who sold theirs. Still have my bow/staff (they need to reintigrate them) and quiver

I have mine on Stormrun, my old hunter. The three hour spawn timer, and how easy it was for people to despawn it, was just ugh. Gave me grey hair.

That’s not really true. By the end of Wrath you could 2-man MC for the quest item then easily solo the demons for the quest. I did all that in 2010. The sinew was a bit harder to get your hands on but it wasn’t BoP so I just bought mine for a few thousand gold on the AH.

In Classic it’ll definitely be a badge of honor though. MC will never be totally trivial so just getting your hands on the quest item to start working your way towards it will be a feat in itself.
