Hey So my friends and I walked into as lvl 43-47 players. The mobs were lvl 30 elites so we did not scale down, and the mobs all died in one hit, which was hilarious but I am that does not seem like the design intention.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to RFC instance under ORG as party.
Zone In
One-shot everything with ludicrous amounts of damage. Bosses? 1 hit, Mobs? 1 hit.
This is intended. Cata “old world” zones stop scaling at level 30. You move onto other zones at 30. You can see what “level” a zone is by hovering it with your mouse on your map. You can do this dungeon at an appropriate difficulty by partying up with a player under level 30 and enabling the Party Sync feature.
Hey, thank you for your response! I just thought it was a scaling issue because under normal circumstances you don’t just one-shot bosses.
You are 28 levels above the content. I’m not sure what else you expected.
