Rezan: Possibly a big shadowlands pothole

Possibly one of the best characters from BFA, wasted for whatever reason…

The thing is Rezan wearabouts in shadowlands will be a massive plot hole.

Being a loa he’s in in Ardenwald but we’re told that all the night elves in war of thorns went into the maw… so unless him being a wild God superceded him going to the maw that’s no explanation

Honestly hope Rezan is touched on because I think Bwonsamdi is funky and making him the loa of the Zandalari when he already was the matron loa of the darkspear hurt Zandalari lore and culture.

Especially if blizzard goes to replace Rezan with some lessa tribe troll voljin who died to a no name demon.

This is probably the case. The reason all souls go into the Maw now is because the arbiter is broken, but I never got the sense that the arbiter had anything to do with wild gods getting automatically sent to Ardenweald. The arbiter is specifically there for mortal souls.

I will say that he isn’t were you think he is…

However, the mechanics of the afterlife may mean that some souls of significant stature bypass the individual sorting of the Arbiter and therefore won’t end up in The Maw.

You’ll probably want at least one character to become Night Fae and do that campaign.
