I don’t know about you guys but paladin needs a rework I feel. Give us some utility that’s useful. Give us some mobility and some class depth. The class as a whole is terribly boring.
I would love to see Prot paladins be able to Flag carry in Bgs and Rbgs, But that will never be the case since paladins main Defensive cds will drop the flag. Meanwhile Druid’s and Dhs have been Meta and prio picks for flag carrying for years. Also give us something to counter wizards plz thanks.
Sadly I doubt it’s going to happen until 11.0, and that’s only if there is enough flak from the community at large.
What will happen is when prepatch drops people will say “It’s not supposed to be balanced around 60. It’ll be better at 70.”
We’ll have to wait until the expansion itself drops, for people to really see how bad it is. Thing is the horrid design cannot be hidden behind Borrowed Power, especially since it is a copy/paste of Shadowlands/BfA with a bunch of pieces torn off.
I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll rebalance the talents and unprune abilities in patch 10.1. I mean, the talent system is new, so it makes sense to tweak it as they go.
For my money, I wish they’d unprune Denounce and the Beacon of the Lightbringer talent to make holy caster fun and viable again.
