Rewind nerf vs other healer raid CDs?

Hey folks. Can someone explain the reasoning behind the Rewind nerf for evoker vs other healer cds like Salvation, Healing Tide, or Revival? Given the kits of some other healers (Salv + Hymn) or Tide + Spirit Link, I’m just trying to get an understanding of the justification for the nerfs that seem to keep happening with this class?

is Rewind in its current state that much more powerful then any other healer raid CD currently? And if so, how much more so?

Rewind was, and will probably still be, the best raid cooldown in the game. The 2% buff to all healing makes up for it copping a nerf

How is it the best CD number wise? Where does it compare to the other raid CDs?

They what? Did they at least reduce the damn cooldown like seriously persuaded Blizzard has it out for Preservation at this point sick of this

Don’t know about that but it was balanced by its cooldown.

If there is heavy damage going out, say mythic sarkareth, it will heal for more than 4 million when used properly. Basically double the throughput of any other similar cooldown while only costing 1 global.

It really wasn’t balanced.

Rewind is absolutely nuts in mythic raiding. You press it during a high damage portion of the fight and 20 people go back to full health.

Rewind is the ultimate reaction heal. No cast time, just a global and people are back to good almost instantly after taking massive damage. The nerf won’t kill it.
