I am a Carpenter by trade. Have a time of entry but never a specific time as to what time we’re done for the day… The little time i have to spare i used it to relax which sometimes i do by playing this game…
Lately i notice my subscription was active and No Rewards for keeping it active…
Haven’t login in months! And what i get in Return for keeping my subscription active… Zero! … Nada…Nothing…
Cmon devs! gotta do better than that… Reward players for Keeping their subscription ‘Active’!
I contribute/help pay for you devs Salary without even being able to login for months…
Rewards player for keeping their subscription active; It is a Small token of appreciation in the scope of thing…

so you want free stuff just for logging in? Yeah that’s def not going to be abused. Also rewarding active subs is less of an incentive and more of a red flag that a game is dying

simple, what the TC’s suggesting is that by maintaining an active sub, you get “rewards” or “free stuff” just because you throw 15 bucks at the game. This isn’t an Korean MMO or a mobile game

Yeah, it’s not a bad suggestion. They already have rewards for having a 6-month subscription, so what OP is suggesting is not unprecedented in WoW.

But the forums would have claims of Predatory Business Practices within 2 seconds of the system being announced.
The forums also think LFR is real raiding, so you have to look at each individual statement and judge it one at a time.

Imagine how triggered you would be if you had to cancel a bank card for what ever reason and the day after your sub went to roll and you’d missed 1 day of having a sub

It would be a good option to encourage players to return after their last stupid decisions from Blizzard did not help anything.
It is just a little more than trying to sacrifice the company a little more so that we enjoy the game.

You hear that everyone? Be thankful you can just simply login and be grateful you have access to anything else. Never demand more or better quality. Ignore that you have to pay for three different things before you’re even allowed to access a character.
I don’t think breaks due to expired cards counted… I think you had to actually click the cancel button to be disqualified. I have the statue and I’m confidant there were periods in BC and WotLK that I didn’t have an active sub because my card expired.
It’s actually pretty common among MMO type games.

I have no opinions on the subscription incentive thing I just came here to say how much your name incites the fear of civil humankind in my body
Final Fantasy XIV gives you Glamour sets for being subscribed for specific amount of days (and it does not have to be consecutive, it’s accumulative).
And last I checked, FFXIV is nowhere near death.
