Completed storm’s fury, which is supposed to be tagged as “group” content that contributes to the progress bar on the weekly quest. Did not get any progress for finishing storm’s fury toward the creation catalyst. Also tried to run a normal dungeon, which is group content for dungeons in the dragon isles (it’s not been specified that it MUST be M+ anywhere I’ve seen), still did not get any progress towards finishing revival catalyst quest. Wth

I can confirm that there is a problem. I completed the quest to kill the world boss Bazual while in a group and I didn’t get any credit towards the Revival Catalyst quest.
Has anyone been able to advance this quest?

Got 50% from World boss but then ran a normal dungeon and a timewalking (q’ed) and neither awarded credit… pretty sure they should be group content.

I’ve just gotten to 80% on my main by doing World Boss and then a few Elite World Quests - switched to my Alt to beat World Boss for last 20% and… its bugged out - im now down to 40% progress on both toons and my Alt got 2 ‘Passing Renascence’ quest items…
So, what gives?

In Blizzard’s haste to nerf completing an account-wide quest by reducing the world boss’s contribution, they also accidentally made that activity only valid once a week. My guess is it was an ill-fated attempt at preventing credit from re-killing the world boss on the same character.
Really, just let us play the game. There is zero reason the quest needs any more effort than we already are putting in.

So I can’t receive progress.
Also I abandoned the quest and now can’t pick it up again on any character.

Got any proof on this? I went from 95% to 55% after killing the world boss on an alt as was suggested by my guild.
Now I get to wait til raid to get my dang thing.

Same here, with both my main and alt, I’m stucked at 30% even though I just completed the World Boss yesterday, 1 heroic dungeon, the soup community quest, 2 hunting events and many Elite Rare Quests. So annoyed that this feature shoulda been implemented a while ago, and now that is finnaly live it’s bugged, lmao. No reason to play the game at all.

The world boss and the group world quest in Primalist future both contributed 20% each today for my main and alts.
Yup can confirm the quest progress is bugged, when you kill a world boss or do an event you are supposed to receive an item called passing resonance which counts towards the revival catalyst, did the world boss on some alts got 2 on each but after i swapped characters the items disappeared from them and my progress went back down…
Isn’t the Spellforge Creation elite world quest supposed to give progress as well? Just did it with my group and got zip. =/
Bugged man I’ve had friends do dungeons and it didn’t give em any credit towards it same with wq. They also tried abandoning the quest and to just try to re-earn progress towards it and they are now stuck at 0%
What worked for my group was spamming Hunts at 10% each, and doing the Blue world quests. The non-blue elite world quests didn’t seem to count.
