This here! I see this agrument so often from both sides. Raiders say its ridiculous they “are required” to do M+ to get higher ilvl gear, and mythic + think its ridiculous they have to do raid for tier and trinkets. I mostly do M+, i didnt do any raiding season 1 and I find the system to be very fair. If you don’t want to do the content you shouldn’t expect the rewards that others are getting for the content. There has to be incentives for doing both, the other option being seperating the gear from the two which just sounds terrible. You don’t have to do any content you don’t want to. The exception is if you want to be finishing mythic raid and 24s and 25s in the first couple weeks you probably have to do both.
