Why no catalyst charge this week? Do we not get one until next week? I’ve been looking all over for an answer, but have found nothing.

Now I am super confused. I have two items from various stuff today that should be convertible (boots and legs), but when I go to the catalyst, those items are greyed out and there are no charges showing.
Where did you get them
I did a hunt and a feast, so one or the other, or both.
They are both 480 Veteran level items, so I am assuming they are convertible. Is this not correct?

I didn’t get one either on any of my characters. I have eligible gear but no charges. I hope there’s a blue response so we’re not just stuck.

A lot of gear seems to be incorrectly flagged regarding whether or not it’s eligible for a catalyst. I guess they have no automatic processes for any of this stuff and have to go in and set everything manually, based on how screwed up everything is.

World event gear does not convert. S1 lfr sets were only convertible from the primal storms. s2 Might have been the Fyrakk incursions or maybe the researchers event, but I skipped all of that so wouldn’t know for sure. S3 event stuff from the emerald dream area similarly did not convert. Gear from then time rifts and dream rifts did convert, they might still.
Best play, just run dungeons from this season, those will work.

The purples from the weeklies in Emerald dream were convertible.

In Season 1, neither of those sources were convertible, it was only Raid/Dungeon Epics/PvP Epics/Primal Storms epics.
The requirements to convert appear to be based on an itemID whitelist, and a requirement that it dropped as a purple.

My guildie was able to convert an item from the Siege world event. I was not. I had no charge available when trying to use the catalyst.

Thanks all for the replies. I don’t want to convert veteran level anyway, but I wanted to check stats on items. I’ll give it a week, after next reset, before I report anything official. I will also try items from different content.
It is good to know I am not the only one noticing this.
Boots do not count towards the set bonus though. Just saying.

Got lucky on the WB on one of my alts and got a champion piece drop. It is convertible and I do have 1 charge at the catalyst. The charge is not showing unless I have a piece that can be converted.
Anyone know if they are going to make any changes to what can be converted? I don’t like to convert anything under champion and anything not for tier set, but would like the option. Would be nice to have the option to convert veteran and above like it was for Season 3.
Veteran stuff is convertible (since you can convert LFR gear), but it has to be on the itemID whitelist.
The gear from the feast/dragonbane keep/hunts was not on that whitelist in season 1, and that does not appear to have changed.
