My wife and I revisited our Garrison. We wanted to do the naval quests to get an heirloom ring.
I am enjoying it now more than I ever did when it was new. I only wish the content was kept up like in other leveling areas.

Sure, update it, but donât make it mandatory like they did in WoD.

Itâs sad that the player base generally hated it. If they use it as the foundation to create an instanced house for players, then thatâd be great. Especially with the manner of how that one person was showing the customization for it.

Whatâs sad is why they hated it.
The solo player had nothing to do after they leveled their 10th alt except walk circles around their garrison. Couldnât fly, no daily areas, dungeons were boring and pointless before mythic was added. So their followers went on more adventures than the player did. Itâs resentment.

I do wish there was a way to work on your garrison together with another player. My wife and I can visit each others garrison, but weâre still all on our own.

Actually, I wouldnt mind it if they used the garrison as âplayer housingâ, just update it and add some new crap into it.

No one hated it, inherently. They disliked that the rest of the game didnât exist. And then Blizzard threw the baby out with the bathwater. Garrisons would be thriving in a Dragonflight ecosystem.

Wasnât here for WoD, but garrison achievements are one of the better past times during content lulls.

It didnât help that our followers went on a mission entailing the scrapped Dance Studio, and even Farahlon.
I feel like they were rubbing salt in the wound, lol.
Also, just noticed Iâm able to post despite my WoW being inactive, neat!

Should push for a âRevamped Garrisonsâ megathread. I truly think itâs WoWâs best bet for a housing system.

I get what you mean but I also understand why it wasnât a thing, the garrison invasion was the closest we ever got
Garrisons were cool. I still visit mine frequently. Itâs forever time locked in an alternate universe. Know it for what it was, is and always will be. 
Instead of garrison updates, let us ask for cross faction guildhalls. A slice of permanence in the ever changing world where we can hang our armor at night.

The only chance for something like that is to leave the word âgarrisonâ out of it and just hope that the developer roster has turned over enough that there is no living memory of WoD hanging around.

Nahh ty, i would rather have player house, guildhall would most likely fail for the same reason guild level did
Most posts are see there are from incredibly invested players who are hyperfocused in on one small detail that theyâre championing, or a 1 post wonder that reads something like, âHi, Iâm a roleplayer who has never been beyond level 20 and have played nearly six hours of WoW!â and are never heard from again.
Iâd like to see instanced housing realized via guilds. A central guild hall with a neightborhood of player houses around it.

Letâs be fair, unless you were a die hard raider it was the ONLY part of WoD until Tanaan Jungle opened up. The only detriment for me was the fact I lost over 4 million gold by not upgrading my inns for a year. I am STILL making over 20k a week from my garrisons.
