I would argue shamans are actually very good. I’m nearly full bis as enh. I walk around with 2.1k unbuffed, take 10% reduced dmg and crit reduction and have insane dmg. Running out of mana is rough but I can 1v1 anyone it feels like. I’ve had 1v3 world pvp moments. I feel like they are extremely underated.

One interesting WSG yesterday. Our side had six hunters and the other side five warriors.-3priests. I’m a warlock with the hunters. Also, I hate these stacked BGs with one class but it showed something. The warriors destroyed the hunters in a 3-0 humiliation. I get tired of the dumb people stacking hunters and priests thinking that is the ultimate WSG team. Fun fact, I out damaged the hunters where, in this mindless BG we had no objectives to focus on but just fight mid and try to erase the warriors.
I’m on the quest to find the best comps. One comp could include 3 warriors, which i have seen a few times being very strong with he rest of the comp being balanced. The best FC i have seen in SOD might be a very good FC mage.
From what I’m reading here. The only logical answer is to nerf Hunters more! How dare they trifle with the hero class that is classic Warrior!

Rockbiter being just shy of 700. It’s going to be a problem when a brick sht house walks up to you with just shy of 2k AP bonus on their imbues.
Hard to say for sure, unless you inspected the gear of the hunters, and the warriors… and it’s hard to know what skill is behind each toon. I enjoy PUG vs PUG, or Premade vs Premade, but either side of PUG vs PM is so boring. I’m exalted and not into farming HK’s or Honor. I really enjoy when we have fairly well matched teams, and you have to play strategy, and focus on “flags” which can change depending on the mix of each team. Anything else is just so boring. Occasionally, we’ll get a good PUG team that embarrasses the PMs. Hard to believe at times considering the advantage of Discord over chat, or that a lot of PUG players afk or don’t rez after the first clash. I think Blizz should make it so that there’s never any more than two of each class, and pair PUG vs PUG and PM vs PM. BIS Warriors hit Leather Hunters hard! Priests & Locks are pretty powerful too. Blizz, if you’re listening, bring fun back to a game of strategy, rather than just OP.
if you cc the pet hunter dies so then does it become D tier?

I mean penance and hunter pets are EQUALLY broken. They both need to nerfed into oblivion and far beyond. Absurditys.
Then surge needs a good nerf too. it’s way too strong.
Warlocks are fine, they have tons of counters if their opponent has fingers.
But F tier is still warriors. What a pathetic state they are in. There are critters in elwyn forest that put up a better fight than warriors.
They’re actually pretty strong and with a healer can be monstrous.
Because of mortal strike, they will have to stay critters because come 40 they will be the only viable melee.

Honestly, I feel like mage is up there. The fact that I can facetank warriors with Regen + imp arcane missiles just feels dirty, and the human racial is unkind to rogues. Add to that Living Flame benefiting from Arcane Blast now, and it’s pretty potent if I have any peeling whatsoever. Plus, I can sheep priests.

Mage is one of those classes thats going to become a god in Phase 2. Ice Block, Ice Barrier, 5/5 shatter, 5/5 ice shards, and whatever else they end up adding with the runes.
I’ve been saying this forever. Everyone is crying about ret paladins when shaman tanks are beefy as hell and do way too much damage. One of the hardest classes to duel as ret
