Ran a TIER 8 with my friend. Not 11. An 8. My buddy is a MYTHIC PROG HEALER. I ran DPS. Brann tank. We couldn’t keep Brann alive. He’s worthless now. Revert this. PLEASE blizzard. Whatever intern you claim tested this change and liked it must have tested on a tier 4 or something.
Honestly what did you guys do before he existed as tank? Ive ran him as healer while im dps as ret pally and hes goated. Loaded his tank setup once and after seeing how he pulled and still stood in stuff and didnt really pull the things you wanted or would not grab runaway mobs. I dont know how you deal with that, he could be immune the whole time and I still wouldnt use it.

Oh it’s a cakewalk with healer Brann. But how are healers supposed to play? Pretend to be a DPS while Brann heals you?
It’s categorically absurd that Tank Brann can’t be kept alive in a tier 8 by a mythic prog healer. Was he overtuned before? Yes. But Blizz nerfed like 5 things at once and should have only picked 2.

All I know is T11 took 20 minutes with tank Brann last week and now it takes 30 minutes with healer Brann. The least amount of time in Delves is preferable.

How much HPS is your friend doing?
I did a T8 with 3 other players for a KR yesterday and while it was more effort to heal him Brann didn’t go down.
Healer for my DPS spec and DPS for my healer spec.
I did T11 KR and SS yesterday and the run ended around the 20 minute frame. Did a T10 EC that was 17 minutes, if that was a T11 I’m confident it would’ve been around 20 minutes.
The same way we’ve always played prenerf.

When someone plays a game, they typically have a preferred playstyle—whether that’s sneaky stealth, aggressive combat, strategic planning, or freeform exploration. A solid game experience respects that by giving players the freedom to engage in ways that feel natural to them.
If a game suddenly forces a player to abandon their chosen style—like requiring a stealth player to engage in all-out combat—it can feel frustrating, unnatural, and even punishing rather than rewarding. Instead of feeling like they’re progressing, they feel like they’re being pulled out of the experience they were enjoying.

I just ran him as well 100% of the time and if character I play can tank they will be in tank spec or dps. Honestly I only done delves as a pally, warrior, monk, warlock and a hunter and they either can tank or have pets that can tank so I am ok.
Every class has a dps spec. I just go windwalker/elemental/shadow. You get them done way faster than having to rely on Brann.
This. Im running a holypriest with a few dps skills and dps brann im not seeing the massive issue
Not sure how people don’t get this. If someone WANTS TO HEAL, then saying “swap to DPS” is a really stupid response.

How did you survive before Brann could tank?
I’ve run MM Hunter (LW), Assassin Rogue and Elemental Shaman through Delves with him healing.
I mean, I get why Healers would want him to tank, but why would any DPS care?
I didn’t do delves with a healer.
Yea another fun detected nerf from Bliz. Healer Bran is next. Then DPS Bran till all he’s good for is blabbing to you.

I notice even as healer he stands in bad constantly. Having him drop dead mid boss fight was not great.
They need to give him back his avoidance - I don’t recall this being an issue in S1 - if they can’t give him better AI.
