No one is farming this for gear anymore so Blizz needs to revert the nerf. Grinding this rep for the Meta achievement is overly painful. Also, forcing us to loot corpses for rep tokens is ridiculous, especially when you get moved to a new shard all of a sudden and all those corpses you haven’t looted yet disappear.

Don’t worry, even with the nerf and sharding, you’ll still get the rep done before the firestorm in the plains spawns. 
Yeah I don’t know why they nerfed it, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is with the sharding. Not sure why the sharding is going overboard recently in all zones.

It is a long and boring grind…but at least its soloable now.

Where is the patch note with the nerf? What the heck…why would they do this? I was waiting for darkmoon faire to finish that grind.
It happened back when DF first launched and the rep vendor ring was the best you could get going into S1.
It was a fairly easy grind before that and you could do it 3 or 4 hours if I remember correctly

Last time I was there, had to have guards help me (careful pulls) or follow some other player around. Tough in there being a low-gear clothie. Need some prof recipes from them so gotta do this rep. Blargh.
ps. don’t they mail you stuff you didn’t get to loot? I find junk in my mailbox all the time.

The best part about the end expansion meta achievements is seeing all the people that flat out ignored all the aspects of the game and are now mad they have to do something.

It took me about 2 hours to go from honored to exalted last week (hit honored on DF launch for the ring). That’s nothing for a rep grind. There are groups up for LFG, the only “hard” part is the very beginning, once you get fully powered up everything dies in one shot.
Stop crying that you have to play the game to get in-game rewards lol

This, I had stopped bothering since no one was really ever around but then when I realized I could solo it I finished the last two rep tiers and did the Furblog rep.
Just do 500-1000 rep a day. It’s only terrible if you try and get it all in 1 go.

It’s even worse to do it that way because then you have to grind powers every time. Just set some time aside, focus on getting as many powers as you can, stacking them, then it becomes a one shot fiesta.
I did it over four days recently. Thanks to the powers, it’s very easy in any kind of relevant gear. The only annoying part is being moved into a shard filled with farmers. Don’t forget there is a 30% rep bonus on the Cobalt Assembly talent tree.
Just avoid the powers that slow you down.
I agree that is just terrible to do now. I only had half a bar left and it took me about 3 hours to do that.
I don’t know if it was RNG or not but those mana things in the PVP area seemed like they dropped the rep items at a higher rate.

lol these threads are hilarious. same people that come to the forums complaining about nothing to do. this sucks. that sucks. blizzard implements a meta at the end of an xpac that if you were like me and the average dedicated wow player you would of gotten instantly upon logging in just from actually “playing the content”.

coblalt assembly is not hard nor a grind. you get powers there that will have you overkilling mobs by millions of damage. its a joke.

There are still mistakes to avoid. Like accidentally leaving the area (flying over a valley between two arms of the area) and losing 25 accumulated powers, and then getting absolutely erased when pulling like I was still an overpowered death god.

Tip: wait for cobalt assembly wq or an ele storm to pop up there, then you can find a group easily. Took me about 6-8 hours over the course of three days but I got it from nothing.
Although I do agree, I do wish it was easier to get the rep, I had to be inebriated while doing it to get through it.
I think it’s only spawned once for EU maybe twice, but it hasn’t spawned at all for NA since the DF meta achieve went live… I’ve been looking at night too.
