After getting thrown into ember ward my game disconnected, and now whenever I log into this character I just get dced back to login and I haven’t been able to fix it at all

I was running everything fine until the quest where the giant throws you.
It threw me, I followed the lost sybille, and then I died. Since dying, I can’t connect anymore to Revendreth.
It keeps disconnecting me.

I have had this same issue twice now. The second time took me 8 relogs to finally get back in. During the many retries, I disabled all addons and that did nothing. 3 more attempts after that, it worked. This happened to a friend of mine yesterday as well. Note:. You don’t have to be on the quest for it to happen. I tried running through while mining and it occurred.

Got DC’d twice when he throws you to the north. Also he’s not allowing you to get the “Chewed Light Shard” quest

yep, the problem is still there, i have relog like 13th time now, tried also disable addons, nothing worked. I see this problem lasts almost month so please blizz, it would be nice to fix it.

Just happened to me…opened a ticket to get some help…nearly 4 days expected wait on a response from Blizzard…how is that in any way an acceptable response time?
EDIT: so after about 20 minutes of trying to reconnect and having no luck, I decided to try logging in and this time spamming my directional keys (both WASD and the arrow keys). I was spamming the keys as the load bar was loading. This worked on the first try and I am back in the game…not sure if that is a coincidence or not, but you might want to give it a try. GL
LATEST: So this has happened to me about 4-5 times now…it’s not always in Revendreth. Every time though, spamming the directional keys (and maybe jump) has allowed me to login.

I can confirm this problem is still happening I’m past the quest when u get past him the 1st time. I was doing world quests and got to close to him he throws me I survive and got DC’d and now I keep DCing have any of you been able to play the characters this has happened to?

Still happening… Todays date Feb. 03 2021… Constant Disconnects from server after getting thrown by Stonehead…
BLIZZARD FIX THIS !
EDIT: Guys if you get this issue, spam the WASD and Mouse clicks RIGHT AFTER you hit the enter button on your character BEFORE it starts to load… It will more than likely not DC you. I was able to get past it.

I can confirm that this happened to me too multiple times. I just did the small questline to get achievement “Best Bud With Benefits” so I could walk by him without him throwing me. Not the ideal solution, but a decent workaround for the meantime.

it still happens nowdays tried to bypass him 4 times and 4 times i got dc… cmon blizz we love ur game and we pay for it whats happening more than 6 months with no fix ?
