Instead of a tameable pet or battle pet, a playable race. C’mon, you know you want it.
I used to love that show growing up. Gargoyles are definitely an allied race I would love to have just saying.

(Commentary): Ah, Demona. I was always sad she became an antagonist. Looking back I’d say she was something of a proto-type for Sylvanas. I would be shocked if the Banshee Queen’s character and personality wasn’t on some level influenced by characters out there like Demona.

Demona is great for morally grey.
Her daughter for example shows it. Normally Gargoyles don’t really have parents. The entire clan is the parent. But when her daughter was in danger, she tried to help her and even asked Goliath to save their daughter.
It was very “human” of her to do that compared to Gargoyles.
It’s just bittersweet that her suffering is mostly her own doing.

That is one of my favorite animated shows. I wish they would release season 3, probably will on disney+ which is dumb. I don’t want to sub to them for one thing.
Season 3 isn’t canon so it’s really just best to pretend it doesn’t exist. The only episode considered canon is the one where Hudson is losing his vision
There’s a comic series that acts as something more canon. It even includes a mention of a story the creator of gargoyles REALLY wanted to make where Brooklyn is sent thru time a lot by the phoenix gate.
Canon or not, I never got to watch that season.
Not even going to get into the argument of what is not canon considering disney stuff… cough starwars cough
True but the creator doesn’t consider season 3 canon. A lot of characters are out of character in that season. confused the heck out of me as a kid.

They treated kids like they weren’t stupid. That’s important for kids shows. Don’t treat them like they’re stupid.
They even got away with swearing
All the Star Trek voice actors were amazing as well.
