After Legion i stopped playing and returned for dragonflight. Now should i go back and do BfA and shadowlands just for the sake of doing them?
it’s entirely up to you.
do what you want… do what makes you happy.
I mean, that’s up to you. I think you’ll definitely have a more satisfying experience if you prioritise current content since that’s where the rest of the playerbase is. But that BFA and SL content is still going to be there waiting for you if you ever find yourself in need of stuff to do.
Personally I think BFA was great fun. They remain some of my absolute favourite zones in the game to play through. Drustvar in particular.
Ok let me rephrase my question. I left befor BfA and returned for DF and have run out of things to do pretty much and was wondering if i should bother with doing bfa and sl
You could work on Loremaster. A lot of players do.
Thanks for the replies btw
I’m in the same boat as OP and would agree with this sentiment. I did DF on two characters and needed a break from it, so I one-shot my way through SL. I really enjoyed most of it since I had the luxury of not having to suffer through the complaints affiliated with it when it was current content. Back in Dragon Isles til I get bored again and want to do BfA or just take another long break from the game altogether.
If you ain’t got flying in bfa and bored could go do that idk.
yeah… go do loremaster, check out the stuff you didn’t get to see… open up Mechagon and Vash’jir in BFA, unlock allied races.
join a covenant in SL, check out Torghast and… i don’t know what other cool stuff there is to see with SL… (i took a break to renovate a house)
farm some transmog, pets, mounts, toys.
go back to pandaria and farm some world bosses for mounts, they upped the droprate on mounts from Sha/Nalak/Galleon etc
You don’t do mythic+, you haven’t finished LFR and you don’t pvp, at least not on that character. So to me that says you prefer questing, maybe world content etc. So yeah, go back and do the two expansions you missed. Lots of quests and things to collect. If that’s your preference, go for it.
No.
Unless you really want to suffer.
The mounts and transmog options ate cool but… no flying without a lot of work is really harsh.
Even then, do them after you hit max level so you can kill everything easily.
BFA is pretty cool.
Shadowlands is hot garbage.
I’m in a similar situation to you, I left after BFA. Last weekend I took the time to muscle through Shadow Lands, at least the initial story campaign. It was…fine.
I joined a cult, found a hairy egg that hatched into some kind of…louse. Then I pinpointed the moment that Blizzard hired a furry artist to work on the team and rounded out the experience with a visit to a vampire theme park.
It was …fine. Best of all I never have to go back. The end.
your call really…
dont see the point in doing them, unless you want the story, want the mounts/pets/mogs or want to unlock races…but for the races, be prepared, its a long grind.
either way, having fun in game is the whole point, so do what you like to do
I was really enjoying the theme until the punchy vampire part.
