You want corruption and Azerite traits back? by all means go back to BfA content and continue grinding out your Heart of Azeroth

Corruption is gone yes but simulate it by doing weekly horrific visions once more as well

Hey Blizz, you can use this idea for free.

Want to give people a bunch of easy story content? Let them level all the covenants at once, and go through those quests.

That way, when you swap, you aren’t weeks behind.

Awful system, half-baked solutions.

Door of Shadows is WAY too fun.
Honestly had a better time with Ashen Hallow than Divine Toll.
Venthyr are just so much more fun to hang with.
If I wanted tall blue weird people I’d watch Avatar again.

^^^ This… There is no way any of them would think we “betrayed” them if we decided that the skill set is better for us in another covenant. If they did think this, then they shouldn’t have the title of leader.

I get that you don’t want people moving from covenant to covenant depending on what works best in the raid/m+/pvp, but you take things too far. Instead, just make it cost a ton of anima or gold and let the players enjoy the game their way.

When you leave a Covenant, they assign betrayer status to you. Returning to that Covenant is possible, but you have to take extra steps to regain their full trust.

Nonetheless, the Covenants are now coming together to fight a great threat, and there’s an upcoming new season, and they’re temporarily feeling more compatible with those who previously left their sanctums.

Considering all of the recent balance changes and new rewards like Covenant mounts, we’re creating a hotfix that will reset the betrayer status for all players who previously left any Covenants. This will be one-time renovation to your relationship with your old Covenant intended to make it easier for you to return and pick back up where you left off with them.

We expect the hotfix to go live in the next couple of days.

THANK YOU! I literally made a post earlier that went ignored about how crappy it was to have to wait for reset JUST to get the second part of the tasks to go back to Venthyr.

Hopefully this goes live ASAP.

Then you don’t have to spend half a year balancing them all if there is no damn punishment for moving around

COVENANT: Well, you have to earn our trust by doing various tasks on a weekly basis. In return, we will give you more power as you progress, and eventually once you fully gained our trust, we will give you one of the best powers in Shadowlands. Compare it to the other Covenants, I am sure you will be impressed.
PLAYER: Sign me up.

COVENANT: Yeah…sorry about that. There’s nothing we can do.
PLAYER: Well these other guys are looking pretty good right now. They would be happy to have me. I did, after all, put all of this work in on the promise that you made.
COVENANT: Sorry, nothing we can do.
PLAYER: Okay, it’s been good. But I am going to have to go work for someone else.
COVENANT: …BETRAYOR!

Allow me to give my feedback on this. This is stupid and only causes problems when there’s already so many reasons not to want to switch covenants. This has been my feedback. It echoes that of most others. I am aware that you will do nothing with this.
