Returning Resto Druid

Hey all, recently returned to game since about mid shadowlands. I am about to hit 70 and want to get back into PVE healing but am a little unsure as to how to gear up this guy for it. I returned at level 60 so just feral leveled with quests till 70. Any advice on where to start to get back into it and so I will be in decent shape for upcoming xpac?

Also, not sure why its posting as a new level 10 character and not my main. Gryynch is my main Resto Druid.

Welcome back!

The forum pretty arbitrarily picks a default character for youto post on. You can change that by cliicking on your character image at the top right to choose a specific character to post with.

The expansion is so over I really wouldn’t bother with any serious gearing. When TWW drops in 6 or 7 weeks, it’ll all be past.

OK, so quick gearing at 70:

• The AH will have fairly reasonably priced 450-ish pieces
• There is a Dreamsurge event, in Algathera in Thaldraszus this week. Do WQ and kill mobs and fly through green orbs to collect 100 Coalescence, which will buy you a 454 and get you a 467. https://www.wowhead.com/beta/guide/world-events/dreamsurges
• There is a Weekly available at the fountain at the main square in Valdrakken. It lists 3 activities - each will give you a 480 piece, and completing all three gives you a 493
• There is a Radiant Echoes event ongoing. https://www.wowhead.com/guide/the-war-within/pre-patch-event-radiant-echoes It has just changed to 3 Dailies per day, with 3K reward each plus maybe half that suring the event itself. So call it 12K currency per day. You can buy 480 gear for about 5K per piece. https://www.wowhead.com/beta/currency=3089/residual-memories#items So that will be your main focus.

All this gearis upgradable with Flightstones and Crests you will earn from doing WQ and Radiant Echoes
