Returning players (Horde on Area 52) LF long-term home & late weekend raids for Shadowlands

We are veteran players 2004 - 2010 who left right after WotLK. Previously endgame progression raiders, came back about two months ago to re-learn the game and looking forward to Shadowlands. Recruit two for the price of one! We are professionally employed adults with children, looking for a long-term home / community here, that happens to raid on a late night weekend schedule beginning at 10PM EST on Fri & Sat, possibly other nights as available. We currently lack the gear to make a meaningful contribution to the current raids, but we’d love to spend time practicing whatever content we can as we get to know our new guildmates.

Player 1: Hunter main in every MMO since '96, primarily BM but getting used to the MM lifestyle. Will play either comfortably in your raids. Willing and able to switch to a DH for either role if that is desired. Currently learning to Prot Warrior as well, but still have a lot to learn.

Player 2: Shaman main from '04 to '10 Primarily Elemental but willing to Resto if needed, has raid experience as both. Can be a solid Shadow Priest as well, but prefers Shaman life.

Your guild is:

No drama group with low turnover, primarily adults, casual attitudes but serious players. Willing to understand we’ve been gone a long time and while we’ve knocked the dust off ability wise we will need to get up to speed with new mechanics. Looking to spend the time from now to Shadowlands joining a community with the intent to contribute to your achievements in the coming expansion.

*note: Currently guilded in one we started to use for a guild bank to share between our accounts.

Good morning Gerissen,

Not sure if you’re open to weekday raiding or not, but if you are we could be the perfect fit. <Dusk to Dawn> is a newish, late night Horde guild on Mal’Ganis forming for the rest of BFA and into Shadowlands. Our goal is to clear most of Mythic every tier in Shadowlands, but focusing on bringing in the right personalities. We are keeping the roster small (limited to just the raid team) so that people can actually bond and form friendships with their fellow raiders. I want people that care more about finding a home and group to raid with tier after tier instead of just having people that only care about chasing CE every tier and bounce between guilds to get it. We are a very laid back group and our top priority is having a good time while killing some bosses.

We also run M+ pretty much every night we aren’t raiding. We’ve also started doing mechagon hard modes and will be starting dungeon/raid achievements soon. If it sounds like a good fit, I would love to chat more!

Hey bud! We are actually founded on a group of veteran players as well. I haven’t myself had the same excitement since cata changed everything, and have spent a lot of time on private servers, and just recently stopped my competitve push in Classic to start Shadowlands prep.

We don’t raid weekends, but I saw you did mention other nights COULD be a possibility. If so, we do raid late night for EST so it may be a fit (Tues/Wed/Fri 10pm-1am est)

If that COULD work I’ll leave our recruitment thread here for you to browse, and if it seems like a good fit, feel free to hit me up with any questions!
